My Raised Bed Garden – Update #1

Made some mini-greenhouses to help in seed germination plus a tomato trellis. Weather has been cool and rainy so not much is happening yet.

LOL, Patience Gary, patience. Veg does seem to take an eternity to appear, especially carrots, but then the ground seems to burst open and all in the world is well again. Slugs are my worst enemy so I use an organic pellet and get lots of them every night. I don’t move the dead slugs because they are under nets so the birds can’t get at them and they just melt away. The bad news… 1 square yard of raised bed can have over 30,000 slug eggs(?) but, thankfully, they don’t all survive.
